.... My two good friends George & Josh Kohler, return home after an epic around the world cycling fundraiser.

Acle & Halvergate Cricket Match....

.... Watching Acle & Halvergate Cricket Club play Norwich Bystanders.

A relaxing way to enjoy the afternoon sunshine.

It is my intention to attend at least 6 cricket matches this season.

Omnibus Jaunt (Pt 1)....

.... Starting in Gorleston at 09:40, bus no. 580 to Bungay.

At Bungay viewed Bigod Castle, The Buttercross and The Town Well.

At 11:55, bus no. X41 to Halesworth.

Viewed the River Blyth and the area around the Town Quay. 

 

 

Omnibus Jaunt (Pt 2)....

.... At 11:39 caught bus no. X99 to Southwold.

Viewed The Church, Adams Brewery and The Lighthouse.

At 13:10 boarded bus no. 99 to Lowestoft.

A bargain slap up meal with a pint of Leffe in The Joseph Conrad.

Travelled 69.8 miles on 5 double decker bus and managed to sit in my favourite seat, upper deck, front right. 

 

Family Reunion....

.... On Saturday April 25th I caught the 08:47 am train to Bury St Edmunds from Gt Yarmouth, via Norwich and Stowmarket.

There to meet my cousin, whom I  had not seen for 25 years.

Her and her husband, Steve, had plenty of time to talk about times gone by.

I arrived home at 7.15 pm.

I travelled on a total of 6 trains.

North Walsham Priscilla Bacon Shop....

.... In the Market Place.

I partook in my usual activity, steam cleaning frocks & blouses.

Thanks to the staff and Manager, Caroline, for such a warm welcome.

Taverham Priscilla Bacon Shop....

.... Located to the rear of the Taverham Nursery Centre.

I enjoyed steam cleaning many ladies garments.

With Andrea, the shop Manager.

Odd Jobbing....

.... With my godson in Stratton Strawless.

I was complimented on the painting job and rewarded with an alfresco meal in front of the bonfire.

Seedlings....

....I have been busy with pricking out hollyhock and tagete (marigolds) seedlings in my greenhouse.

I also cut my grass before the forecasted rains today.

Priscilla Bacon Main Warehouse....

.... I enjoyed a great time in the Priscilla Bacon Charity Warehouse in Drayton. I was given a tour of this huge building  by Linsy Harvey in charge of volunteers.

I'm pictured with Linsy.   While there Linsey arranged for me to visit Taverham Charity shop next Tuesday April 21st and next Friday April 24th the North Walsham shop.

My Annual Flutter....

.... The Grand National 2026 at Aintree.

This year I'll be cheering on No.13 Iroko.

EDIT - Iroko finished the race 2nd.

.... I received a very warm welcome from the very generous ladies of Rollesby Womens Institute.

I gave a presentation about my 90 challenges in my 90th year.
